The SONOFF ZBM5-3C-80W is a smart 3-channel wall switch from the SwitchMan ZBM5 series, designed for the separate control of up to three lighting circuits. It uses the Zigbee 3.0 wireless standard, which ensures a stable connection and allows the switch to be integrated into various smart home systems.

One of the main advantages of the ZBM5 model is its flexible electrical connection, as the switch can operate with or without a neutral wire. It is therefore suitable for both newer and older electrical installations where a neutral wire is not available in the wall box. When used without a neutral wire, the connected load must be at least 3 W.

If the switch is connected with a neutral wire, it can also function as a Zigbee router, helping to extend and improve the stability of the Zigbee network. In this mode, it also supports the Detach Relay feature, which allows the physical button and the relay to operate independently and is particularly useful when using smart bulbs.

Through a compatible Zigbee gateway, you can remotely control individual channels, set timers and schedules, and create various smart scenes and automations.

The ZBM5-3C-80W is also suitable for users of open-source smart home systems, as it supports integration with Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT using a compatible Zigbee adapter.
