In some cases, smaller objects, bushes, poles, or posts may not be detected or recognized by the system, which could result in damage to the vehicle without human intervention. INSTALLATION NOTE Please connect the positive terminal of the display to the ignition line (KL15/ACC) and not to the continuous positive terminal to prevent deep discharge of the vehicle battery. The GPS receiver in the speaker automatically activates the parking aid for your safety in case of poor GPS reception, when driving in underground garages or tunnels. It is only deactivated at speeds above 15 km/h when GPS reception is good. SAFETY NOTE The driver is solely responsible for parking and other maneuvering! The electronic parking aid is a driver assistance system, but it cannot replace the driver's attention. Due to physical limitations, dead spots in object detection can occur even with ultrasonic measurement if sound reflection is poor. For this reason, the assessment of obstacles is always the responsibility of the driver.
