The TR-004 USB 3.0 RAID expansion enclosure allows you to expand the performance of your QNAP NAS and computer. The TR-004 can also be used as a DAS (Direct-connected Storage) device, giving you direct access to its contents by connecting it via USB. The TR-004 features four 3.5-inch SATA drives with multiple RAID configuration options and USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity, which provide you with a highly reliable and secure memory expansion solution. The TR-004 is an ideal memory expansion solution for PCs, especially laptops that do not have the option of installing larger, higher capacity drives. In addition to four 3.5-inch SATA drives and a RAID configuration, the TR-004U allows you to store a large number of files and data and protect against potential failure drive. TR-004 supports various RAID configurations. Depending on your requirements, you can switch between hardware or software controlled RAID modes. Move the DIP switches to the appropriate positions for your ideal RAID mode: Individual, JBOD, RAID 0, RAID 1/10 or RAID 5. You can also configure RAID settings from your QNAP NAS or by using the QNAP External RAID Manager utility on your computer.
