The DTV6010A is an optional TV Tuner card for Pioneer PDP43MXE1/1S PDP50MXE1/1S plasma displays. Installed into the Expansion Slot the DTV6010A offers split-screen functionality noise reduction technology a powerful scaler SCART and DVI-D compatibility. It allows users to combine TV and Teletext broadcasts and connect a wide variety of audiovisual systems to extend the versatility and presentation capabilities of plasma technology. The DTV6010A has a multiband tuner and is compatible with most European TV formats including PAL SECAM and also NTSC via the SCART input. It supports Teletext Fastext NICAM and IGR stereo sound specifications. The product includes a scaler that automatically enhances TV images to the high-resolution capabilities of the screen and a 3D-noise reduction system that filters interference associated with analogue TV signals. The SCART input supports three formats - Composite S-Video and RGB - to connect a range of audio-visual appliances to the display including VHS DVD players and set-top boxes. The DVI-D connector is a digital version of a standard VGA PC input. It negates the need for conversion between analogue and digital signals reducing background noise and producing a faithful reproduction of the image shown on the PC monitor.
